[ Album Cover - A Timeline ]

This is a display of the production of our album cover, images created by myself, using a package of Adobe Photoshop CS3 and sets of custom brushes.

We decided on a "pulse" or "wave" style effect for our front cover, which carried onto the back and sides and inside front cover as if it were one continuous line, so some images that I created looked as following. These were presented to the group:

After many test images, I presented these designs to the group, and recieved feedback from them on what to change, and set about creating the final album cover which looks like this (the sides of the jewel case cover were added at this point). Some of the changes included the typeface and style of the band name, the colour balance, and striking a balance so that the cover looked minimalistic, but still striking and not too busy:

These images were finalised, and became part of the promotional package for our new upcoming band, The Sporadic.
